Pro Football Ireland announces Jeff Reinebold will not travel to Ireland, partial cancellation of tour
We are sorry to announce that Jeff Reinebold will not be able to attend his shows in Ireland, which were due to start this week in Galway over an eight night period. For the live shows in Galway, Cork, Limerick, Dundalk, Derry and Belfast, immediate refunds have been issued from ticket suppliers.
Jeff has added a video statement:
For NFL fans in Dublin and Dungannon, we will still run events on both of these nights: Thursday Feb 1 and Friday Feb 2. On Thursday we will be joined by Tomás Quinn, Ger Gilroy and NFL IPP Candidate Mark Jackson. A further guest will be announced this weekend. On Friday Feb 2nd, we will be in Dungannon with NFL IPP Candidates Rory Beggan and Charlie Smyth, with another guest announced this weekend. Both shows will have giveaways and other elements which will be announced soon. If you had a ticket for one of Jeffs shows across Ireland and want to attend these live pre Super Bowl events, please feel free to reach out to us on social for a free ticket. We really appreciate the support of the community for both of these live events and make a commitment to NFL fans in Ireland that we will return to the other locations as soon as we can, with Neil Reynolds coming to Belfast and Cork in April. All links are here.
Michael McQuaid, Pro Football Ireland founder:
"From day one, Jeff has been a huge supporter of football across the island of Ireland. We have seen unbelievable numbers of fans flock to purchase tickets to meet Jeff in eight different locations across the island. Alas, it is not to be this time - but I know Jeff will be back at some point. We owe Jeff a lot for the growth of the game here, and I know everyone will be excited to see him again in Ireland when he returns. We understand this is very disappointing news - we share the disappointment - but this is out of our control, and we have acted as quickly as we can in this situation.
We will have two events in Dublin and Dungannon on the same dates next week, and we encourage ticket holders to attend and support the game in Ireland. A refund is also available by contacting us for Dublin and Dungannon if you do not wish to attend. All other dates will be refunded. Our next live events will be with Neil Reynolds in Belfast and Cork this April ahead of the NFL Draft.
Thank you for your continued support."
